Let me introduce you to Earth Henna - the leader in all-natural, safe and dermatologically tested temporary tattoos.
Retail: $25.50 (Click on picture above to be taken to the website)
Earth Henna comes in two different kits: one kit with superior quality henna from the fields of Morocco and the other kit is with black Jagua. I received the kit with the henna from the fields of Morocco (which are safe for pregnancies if you are currently pregnant). These kits are sold in stores like Whole Foods, American Eagle Outfitters, Sprouts and Urban Outfitters to name a few.
I bet you are wondering what comes with these kits. Let me just show you:

My kit came with the instructions, Henna Powder, the bottle applicator, 2 plastic bag cones, the Earth Henna solution, stencils (in case you do not want to free hand), and eucalyptus oil (used to transfer stencils to skin).
When I received this kit I was excited to try it out to see what I thought, so excited in fact that I dumped a fourth of the henna powder everywhere. I wanted to disclose this because it may have been part of my problem with how light it was when it was all said and done - those pictures to come.
However, as I said I was excited. I followed the instructions to a T, but since I dumped part of the powder I did not use all of the Earth Henna solution because I was afraid it might mess up the mixture. The picture below is what the mixture looks like all mixed up in the plastic cone bag. It makes A LOT of product so I was happy to read that the left over product can be refrigerated and used later.
Side Note: if you are sensitive to smell then use with cautious because this stuff stinks!

You then cut the tip and put into the plastic bottle. The bottle comes with an applicator tip for more control of the product. The applicator can then be cleaned so the tip does not get clogged.
I chose to do two different stencils, a dragonfly and a fish. These are the wet and dry designs of both.

The solution takes about 20 to 30 minutes to dry. You then have to leave it on for four to six hours and peel it off. You are left with the reddish-brown temporary tattoo.

As I said... I had some problems with the color turning out. The tattoos were a little light. I know they are not to be really dark, but I expected them to be a little deeper in color. It could have been the fact that I dumped the powder or that I did not leave it on long enough (even though I left it on five hours). Who knows.
Regardless, I did like the kit. It was easy to use. The instructions were well written. The stencils were simple to apply and use. Would I use it again? Definitely! The only con I had with the entire process was the smell. It was pretty strong, but once the design dried there was no odor to it. My tattoos lasted about a week and a half which is great!
Have you given this product a try? What did you think about it? Did you like it? Hate it? Any advice on a better application? Let me know by leaving a comment below.
Disclosure: this kit was set to me for free to review, but that in no way sways my review or how I feel about the product.
