Boy oh boy! Do I have a new skin care line for YOU to try! Well, new to me anyways! What is it you ask? It is none other than TaraLee Natural Beauty. This brand is handmade, all natural, and great for all skin types whether you struggle with combination skin like me or oily, aging, dry, or dull skin. TaraLee's products range from face washes to toothpaste to masks to sugar scrubs to so much more. Most of these products come in a variety of scents and fragrances.
I know, I know...you want to hear more about these products right? Great! Because I have an honest review to share with you!
According to the website, you can choose the scent of the face wash. However, since Tara decided to collab with me, she chose the scent for me and sent me the Lavender Chamomile scent. Let me tell you what - I was worried at first. I HATE the scent of lavender, but once I received it and actually tried the product, I realized that the product had a much stronger chamomile scent (not overpowering) than lavender which was GREAT for me!
The Lavender Chamomile is so calming and smells amazing. Let me just tell you, I do not dread my nightly beauty routine because I get to use this face wash. I really do love it! I cannot wait to order other things from Tara. Not only do I know how wonderful her products are, but I have gotten to know her over the past few weeks and she strives for happy customers.
Directions:
You want to be sure to shake well to blend the ingredients together. Because there are oils in this wash, it will separate. Use morning and night.
Advice:
You do NOT need a bunch of this product to make it work effectively. A pea size amount should wash your entire face! I made the mistake of using about a quarter size amount the first time...bad idea!! I had way too much!
Ingredients:
Castile Soap, Distilled Water, Glycerin, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Mica Oxide Powder, Honey, Essential Oil, Vitamin E Oil
Charcoal is becoming a very popular ingredient in the beauty world. So, when Tara asked me to pick an item I wanted to test, I quickly jumped on the charcoal bandwagon and asked to try the charcoal mud mask. I am a mask freak! I love everything about them - mud masks, sheet masks... you name it, I am down for trying it! An added bonus; the mud mask came with a small applicator/scoop.
The mask does not have a smell to it which is great since you are putting it on your entire face for 20 minutes. I know some people are sensitive to smells so I wanted to be sure to include that information for this mud mask. I love how this makes my skin feel! It leaves my skin smooth, but not greasy!
Directions:
Apply mask to face. Allow to dry up to 20 minutes. Moisten and gently rub mask from face. Use up to 3 times a week.
Advice:
The applicator/scoop that comes with the mud mask is useful. However, I attempted to save on the mess and ended up using far more than I should have. I would suggest scooping some out and then using your fingers to apply the mask. Otherwise it will be uneven and take some spots longer to dry.
